Wenham, MA - Within the four years from the first day stepped onto campus to the last, Gordon students strive to determine what they will do after graduation. For many students, they head straight out into the work field, while others decide to attend graduate school, and even a small percentage challenge themselves to join Peace Corps - with the ambition to make a difference.
To some, building peace nationally and internationally is a daily job, in which consumes their lives. Day in and day out they have one goal, to make peace. Understanding the importance of peace, Gordon College has decided to take action on this ongoing issue. This past Tuesday, September 21, Gordon proudly invited Dr. David Steele to come speak on this topic, enlightening and encouraging students to make a difference. Grasping the power of peace Gordon has also decided to add a new minor, Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies. The recognition of peace on this campus is exciting, and we can only hope for a great future to come about from Dr. David Steele's visit and this new minor.
